What exactly is Abs and Beauty, what is HIFEM Technology, and how does this all work?

Abs and Beauty is the name of our new chain of HIFEM sculpting studios that we recently opened in the past 6 months in various locations on the East Coast. In our studio we target areas of the body that clients are looking to improve, using state of the art HIFEM (high-intensity focused electromagnetic) technology.

This technology uses a powerful but harmless form of electromagnetic stimulation to contract the muscles in a targeted area. These magnetic fields create electrical currents, which are passed to the muscles. This technology essentially causes the equivalent of about 20,000 muscle contractions in 30 minutes, constricting the muscles beyond any sort of physiological norm, and targeting fat loss to the area of the muscle – something endless reps, crunches, or sit ups could never accomplish.

What areas of the body do you generally treat, and how long does it take to see results?

The most common areas that we treat are the abs and the glutes. However, we also treat the biceps, triceps, and thighs. As far as how long it takes to see results, that’s the best part! You will get very rapid results compared to other fat-reduction tools and even compared to personal training. After 5 sessions most people see significant toning and fat reduction in the treated areas. Over the course of the next 6-8 weeks, as the fat flushes out of the body, results continue to improve (even after treatment has ended.)

How do I know this really works?

Great question! The numbers speak for themselves: Clinical studies have revealed that on average, people who undergo just four rounds of this treatment see a 20% reduction in fat in the treated area as well as up to a 16% boost in muscle fibers. Of course, each person’s body composition is different and results vary mostly depending on how much extra fat is in the area. We have so many thrilled customers and can provide references upon request.

How many sessions do people generally book?

Our sessions are sold as a package of 5-6 sessions (depending on several factors), as most people get noticeable results during this timeframe. The sessions are spaced a few days apart, as is the recommended treatment protocol. After five sessions, you essentially get the same (or even better) results that you would have gotten from exercising regularly for six months.

 

After the first set of sessions, people can choose to repeat the protocol for even more impressive results, or they have the option of a maintenance plan where they come back once a month for a single session, to maintain the results that
they achieved.

Honestly, anyone who wants to see real results quickly. If you are overweight or out of shape this treatment will help you kickstart your new lifestyle. Is this procedure safe? Is it painful?

HIFEM technology has been proven safe for almost all people. If you are pregnant, have a pacemaker or other electronic devices installed in your body, this treatment is not recommended. As far as what to expect, most people report that they feel the muscles contracting but don’t report it as painful – rather mildly uncomfortable.
